If you are upgrading from a lower wattage to a newer wattage PSU the guage of the copper in the wires are different. I went from a 850w EVGA to a 1300w EVGA and the cables seemed thicker and beefier than the old ones. They have their guage on the wires and the new ones were indeed a higher guage. This let's more electricity through the wire safely. If you push to much electricity through the weaker wires you risk causing a fire! **Q: Will this PSU fit in a NZXT SWITCH 810 White Full Tower Case?** A: It should. I put it in an InWin Ironclad full tower with no problem. If you can get an 850 watt power supply to fit this one will fit. It is not physically larger than other power supplies.
