I needed a good strong fitting harness that would keep her on a leash and help me with not losing my cat. It fits her great. Snug but easily adjustable with the Velcro and is well made. It keeps her stabile and she took a minute to get use to it and did not like the sound of the Velcro. I am very pleased with the how cute and how great it fits. Review: Much better fit - I have a cat that was an inside/outside cat so she is use to going outside unsupervised. Unfortunately she made the mistake of going where she should not of and was attacked by a dog. Luckily she made it back home, then to the vet and back home as a tripod cat now. She can go outside yet it is very unwise for any pet owner to do such with a cat that is an amputee. They will always be safer inside or with supervision if they are allowed outside. Because I have trained all my cats to the boundaries of their yard using a harness I had one on hand yet after using a couple of times on the cat I was just not sure if it would do what was needed and not snap loose (training a cat to a harness is like saddle breaking a horse; trust is a big issue so patience and the right equipment is needed). I bought a harness that stated it was designed for amputee cats...well that was a huge fail due to it being bulky and more of a straight jacket on the cat. This one looked more along the lines of that I have trained cats in before just a little bulkier (the one I was using is designed the same yet only uses 3/4" straps which is why I was afraid my cat might get out). This one can be adjusted nicely yet I will state you must always be sure to be using it correct otherwise the cat can get out by slipping backward from it; in another words never use it while pulling your cat forward which is true of most harnesses. This one may of not been tight enough on my cat when this occurred indoors while using it. It may of also been part of her suddenly shifting into reverse, lol. The harness it's self has elastic bands which allow some extra movement so most likely I just had it to loose. I will find that out on our next try of this that is for sure. Final opinion: seems to be a good harness and not as bulky as some. Breath-ability is there yet I do know from training other cats in other type harnesses that they will always show signs of "sweating" there it fits to them (just as we do with our clothes). Range of motion is great just make sure you purchase the right size....these are not like buying kids shoes. you must buy what it needed so it can work properly. don't be tempted to purchase the next size up because the cat will get out. Comfort...Well I don't really know because my cat does not speak, lol. I do know she is more able to move about in this one when compared to the straight jacket one yet not as free to move as the 3/4" one which is most likely due to her to simple get use to it which I have seen in all that I have trained. ## Features - Escape-proof Cat Harness for Average Adult Cats: Securely fits neck 11-13.7" and chest 18-20"—please confirm your pet's measurements using the size chart for a purrfect match. We are sorry this cat harness is not suitable for machine washing. We would recommend you to hand wash it to assure longer service life. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to write back to us. Here is our email address: support@rabbitgoo.com Hope it will help. Thank you. **Q: What size for a Birman cat?** A: You'll need to measure the cat's middle section, behind the armpits. Also, measure the cat's neck closer to the base of the neck. The product page has a picture that tells you which size to order based on the measurements. The problem with this harness, and pretty much all others that are reasonably priced, is they're made for dogs and their dimensions. They also market the same dog harnesses to cat owners, but they're not made for cats. To get the waist to be the right size, the neck portion was way too small (and the neck portion isn't adjustable). I cut the neck straps and used velcro (gluing and sewing) to make it adjustable. It took a few days to figure it out and make it right. I've seen other harnesses that say they're made specifically for cats, but they run closer to $50. **Q: My cat won't walk with the harness...she only crawls- how do i make her comfortable?** A: Time and practice. No cat likes something new. Put the harness on for like 30 mins at a time and let her get used to it. Then take off and do again later. Do as often as you decide. Coax her with love and treats. Make it a loving, positive experience. When she is walking then attach a leash and let her drag it. Lead her around your home. Cats are scared of everything. Going outside will be yet another very traumatic event. My little guy will walk inside but freaks out outside. Lots of patience and love. Good luck. My little guy actually likes his harness. It does not bind his legs or chest. So comfort shouldn't take to long. **Q: What kind of material is this small pet harness?** A: Hi there, thanks for your interest in our cat harness and leash set. The harness is made of breathable air mesh. This soft cushion maximizes the comfort and gives your pet a snug fit. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to write back to us. Here is our email address: support@rabbitgoo.com Hope it will help. Thank you. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MOVING WITH MY CAT *by D***E on September 20, 2026* I bought this for my declawed cat that will be moving cross country with me. I got the XS in Black, and both the color and fit turned out great. The harness itself is super easy to adjust, which made getting a snug, secure fit on my cat hassle-free. It feels sturdy, comfortable, and well-made without being overly bulky. My only small gripe is the leash it comes with feels a little short, so it doesn't give much slack if your cat wants to wander around and explore. That said, the harness itself is fantastic and gives me peace of mind when we're outside. Definitely worth it! ## Frequently Bought Together - rabbitgoo Cat Harness and Leash for Walking, Escape Proof Soft Adjustable Vest Harnesses for Cats, Easy Control Breathable Reflective Strips Jacket, Black, S - Texsens Innovative Traveler Bubble Backpack Pet Carriers for Cats and Dogs (Black) - Vceoa 17.5x11x11 Inches Cat, Dog Carrier for Pets Up to 16 Lbs, Soft-Sided Cat Bag Animal Carriers Travel Puppy Carry As a Toy of Fabric Pet Home --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/142195647-rabbitgoo-cat-harness-and-leash-set-escape-proof-vest-black](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/142195647-rabbitgoo-cat-harness-and-leash-set-escape-proof-vest-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
