Poor quality control
Pretty much all the fittings were crooked and the holes drilled into the grips to hold the pommel on we’re drilled not aligned so the pommel was mounted canted. For the price, don’t recommended at all. It’s probably why it was discontinued.

Built Like A Tank!
I ordered the Mx-8077 primarily as a knife, and not a bayonet. The title tells it all - this thing is built like a tank! My curiosity led me to try it on the bayonet lug of my Mossberg 590 shotgun, and it almost fits, but not quite. It could be made to fit with a little filing, but I have an M-7 bayonet for the Mossberg and, as I said, I bought it for a knife. I was taken with the blade shape and the overall looks of this model and was not disappointed when it arrived. This is a HEAVY knife and seems to be very high quality. It looks as though it could withstand a lot of abuse. I am very pleased with this purchase. (There was one very minor complaint - the snap on the retaining strap had the half of the snap which was on the strap but not the other half which screwed to the sheath. A trip to the local boot maker's shop and $1.00 solved the problem.)

Nice, but……
A nice blade. A comfortable heavy weight. Solid hilt. Love it, but the canvas sheath strap that secures the knife into the sheath only snapped securely twice. I’m going to try to add Velcro to .
