Review: All the same length! Great colors! - I am planning a new home and want a wood ceiling in the great room. Tongue and groove is quite expensive since installation and finishing it is work intensive. I have been looking for less expensive and less permanent alternatives. I thought stick-on wood wall planks might give me the look I'm after. I've gotten samples of the following: Stikwood; $8 a sq ft., limited color choices, random 1' - 4' lengths. Floor and Decor; $2.37 sq ft., 17" - 46.5" random lengths. It felt lighter and less dense than the others and the samples seemed to splinter easily. Wall Dimension (this product); $5.13 sq ft on sale. Sold in a box of 12 planks all 46.5" long. I also like that they offer lots of color choices. They have shallow lines routed into the backs which should help it to flex and lie flat. Wish they didn't charge for the sample kit but I'm glad I got it. This is my choice because of the quality, great color choices and all the planks are the same length. I also looked at the Armstrong Rustic wood look ceiling planks. They aren't real wood and I just couldn't accept their plastic look.

**Q: does the rustic white have gray tones ?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it does have a very light grey tone. But keep in mind these are real natural wood so the color will varies. Thanks

**Q: How easily does this come off? Quick repaint or will this take chunks of drywall and need some plastering?**
A: I had to remove a piece I applied crooked. It flat out destroyed the thin piece of wood panel but using a putty knife I was able to remove it without much damage to the drywall. Probably depends on the quality and age of the drywall. The adhesive strips are made of foam so there will be a lot of that stuck to the wall that you’ll need to scrape off. If you had to remove a whole walls worth of this stuff, you’re in for a task.

**Q: Are these paintable?**
A: They look like it to me.

**Q: how many itens I might need to purchase to fill a wall of 8 1/2 feet by 11 feet ?**

Looks fantastic, super easy to put up.... But many of our pieces didn't stay stuck. We ended up using a bread nailer to fix them. Still, I would but then again.
