These are more on-ear than over-ear, but the padding is super soft and squishy. There really isn't much pressure on my ears at all, which is something I look for as a glasses-wearer. The sound is really nice, a lot of bass, very clear, and it blocks out all the noise. There is some sound leakage, so I wouldn't turn it up too high in a quieter space such as a library or a study room with other people.The battery life on these things. Oh my word, THE BATTERY LIFE! It's amazing. I think I've charged it...4 times in the 4 months I've had it? Maybe 5, if we count the initial charge before first use. I use this thing every day, probably for a few hours at least (during chores, nighttime routine, for language learning apps, for ASMR, etc.), and the battery lasts for so long. It's amazing. If you want skull jarring car door rattling noise, get another kind! Hard to believe this sound for the money. I bought these to listen to my music collection, not drown out jet engines. They're very light and comfortable on my big head. Just the tiniest buzz in one ear on Bluetooth that most people won't even hear. I'm no audiophile but my singing friends nicknamed me radar because I hear every little quirk in our sound equipment and relentlessly search it out and try to stop it. When they wouldn't pair with my PS3 I emailed the company with the provided address. Within minutes they replied that they were not supposed to pair with PS3 without an extra item as explained in the product description. To me this is exceptional customer service and another reason for the five stars. They pair just fine with everything else. Note: Paired with my Yamaha TSR-7850 there is no buzz and the range is well over the advertised 30 ft. with no loss in signal. If you need bass boost use your source equalizer. These headphones reproduce exactly what the source sends them. The sound quality is awesome. I do not like the volume control on it since its the same as the forward/ back control so it's a challenge accessing the volume control. It lasted me more than 20 hours of constant use on one charge.I like that it came with a case although the case I got was damaged. I like that the headset is foldable but I find the hinges to be stiff so folding it feels like it might break even though the headset is very sturdy.Edited to add: bought these headphones in April and they have stopped charging Oct.2. They worked fine all along and now they just won't charge.
