In a manga, imagination and serious topics are presented in a book format. Who knows and loves manga knows: Japanese comics open up a fascinating world characterized by its own pictorial language, symbolism and culture and involving more than clever superheroes and perfect eyes to do. In Germany, the rise of manga began more than a decade ago. The local scene is now varied, and art fans work passionately to trace figures and manga worlds. For her, Faber-Castell developed in collaboration with a Japanese manga artist the Pitt Artist Pen Manga set, which now come in a new design and new colours and offer young manga artists everything they need to immerse themselves in the world of manga. proportions When drawing a typical manga figure, initially a pattern will help you. Here, the height of the head serves as the basis for proportioning the body. If you set the head height six times above the other, so you have good indications for a balanced manga figure. Volume Your characters will be really alive when you use them with the help of volume shadows, and therefore Presta depth. In the example shown, the thought light source is above the figure and then forms the curves of the legs under the skirt or the arms under the sleeves of the top. Panels Classically, manga panels are divided vertically into 3 rows and horizontally into 1-3 boxes. A classic manga is read from right to left and top to bottom. But there are also manga built from left to right in the ordinary European reading order. Shuchu-Sen Effect lines are perfect for representing motion, momentum, speed, direction, excitement and energy. Fill the background surface of the panel with effect lines, then gently erase the pencil lines. Pitt Artist Pen Brush – Flexibility in Best Shape The Pitt Artist Brush has a flexible brush tip. The angle tilt and variable pressure of the brush tip can be created different thicknesses. Large surfaces can be filled quickly thanks to the flat position of the pen. The strong pressure and lateral traction of the Pitt Artist pen can be created wide lines. Pressure reduction during drawing allows seamless transitions to a finer line. When the flexible brush tip of the Pitt Artist pen bends and the color is stained, a variety of structures can be created. Depending on the strength of the application, tree barks, drops, paths or spot accents are created in the image. Brush The stable yet flexible brush tip with great ink flow and even color application glides gently across the paper. The brush variant is available in 60 different individual colours and different types of pencil cases. The Pitt Artist Soft Brush and Big Brush is available in black. Fineliner The metal-coated tip drawing pen is available in M (0.75mm), F (0.50mm), S (0.30mm) and XS (0.09mm). The M and F line thicknesses are available in three colours, the line thickness S in 11 colours and the XS line in black. Round toe The Pitt Artist round tip pen with 0.3 cm line thickness is available in black and in six metallic colours, which have a high coverage even on dark paper and therefore particularly suitable for greeting cards.
