So it mostly depends on how long you have them and how much you use them but I would say that each pen lasts about a year. **Q: What is the difference between Ultra fine point, Fine point, and Extra fine point?** A: There is ultra fine point is .38mm extra fine is .5mm **Q: Has anyone found pilot g2 ink refills that are cheaper than buying new g2 pens? i have not, which is a shame.** A: The refills seem to go for a little over a buck each, which can be a little cheaper than the pens, which seem to go from one to two bucks each depending on the packaging.
