I love my Face Caddy! It stays on comfortably while still allowing me to sit at my desk, watch TV, or even take the dogs out for a quick break. I find it to be exceptionally comfortable and I don't have to have three pillows to support it so it's applied to just the right spot -- it does that automatically. My only complaint is that the packs don't stay cold very long. An old fashion ice pack will last me about four-hours, whereas the ice packs for the Caddy last about 20-30 minutes. I would imagine that is plenty of time for the average person with TMJ but I haven't been in the 'average' range for many years now. I go to sleep every night with ice packs on both sides of my face, just so I can open my mouth enough to floss in the morning. But ice packs don't allow for mobility and the Face Caddy does! So if you need to be mobile and still need your ice pack, I highly recommend the Face Caddy. Turns out it works pretty well Heating the packs can be a little tricky, but once you learn the time needed, it's a sinch. Since the purchase, my husband had a horrible bout with TMJ from jaw clenching in his sleep and this did the trick. It's a little uncomfortable around the neck area if you attach it too tight. I could have used this a million times over back in the late 90s when I had a TMJ injury.
