Review: Love this sauce! - My mom always used this in her gravies. It is so good to brown gravy and it gives an added flavor. I can’t ever find it in the store here always sold out so I ordered this big one. A great price since if you can find the smaller ones at the store they are almost 4.00. I am recently widowed and have really gotten in to cooking for just myself. I will use this bottle up probably soon cuz I can see me using it more and more on meats and roasts and not just gravies. like that this large one is not in a glass bottle. You won’t be disappointed it you try it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What kind of expiration date should we expect on the bottle we receive?  Maybe too large a bottle to use up in time?**
A: I really don't know when I bought this bottle.  When I did, I wished it had been smaller, but I have used it more than I thought.  My bottle expired in April of 2013, but I have been using it frequently and it is still performing as expected.  I have used this product my whole married life (53 years).  I will buy another bottle when this one is gone.  but I would still like to find a smaller bottle.  No reason except I would just prefer it.  This expiration date hasn't seemed to matter.

**Q: Does it have to be refrigerated?**
A: No, it does not.  The 32 oz bottle usually lasts me about a year, and I've never refrigerated it.  Enjoy!  (PS:  I've been using this product for about 40 years, so I have lots of experience)

**Q: This appears to be Gluten-Free, is that correct?**
A: yes correct....Nutrition. The ingredients listed are: caramel, vegetable base (water, carrots, onion, celery, parsnips, turnips, salt, parsley, spices), sodium benzoate (less than .01 or 1% to preserve freshness) and sulfating agents. Since February 2006, the product has been free of any trace of gluten -- corn, wheat or otherwise.

**Q: This is about $6 at Sam's. Why is it so expensive here?**
A: This item is not sold at all the SAMS only certain places sale this item so the price has to include shipping and handling.
