The used filter noticeably darker, and is much heavier as its filtered out tons of particles, estrogens and harmful substances from my shower water. Bottom line is that this product works. Its a good, inexpensive shower filter. My hair and skin feel much better when using the Sprite filter. My testosterone has not been lowered by the estrogens in the water system. Its so good that I bought a 2nd Sprite filter and take it on the road with me and install it in hotel rooms when I travel for business.
