This pruner features a squeeze and relax lock and titanium coated blades which help retain their sharpness. Lightweight cast aluminum handles with ergonomic grip 5/8" cutting capacity. All metal construction and comes with a limited 20 year .

Review: Possibly the best pruners ever and I've used about over a dozen different ones. - Had have a similar pair that are over 20yrs old. Over time with everybody using them and the grip wearing out and the blade getting chipped in 2 small spots, I decided to get the exact same ones. and yes the old ones still work better than any other ones i've used. It was a bit difficult to locate these ones on line. We shall see if they last as long as the original ones. There seem to be a few minor differences like the pivot bolt, the locking spring, and the blade color (original was shiny gold this one is matte gold). to early to tell if there is a quality difference.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where could I buy the spring.**
A: I replace mine from Ace Hardware, the grey bin of miscellaneous springs.  They stock a similar size which is a bit heavier, but, once broken in, performs quite adequately.  I always buy a few at a time when I find an appropriate size, because, as with all pruners, this is the point of failure.

**Q: OK to clean these with alcohol between uses?      Hope they hold sharpness as I'm not likely to sharpen them.**
A: Alcohol should not be a problem for the metal surfaces.  Might be best to use soap and water for non-metalic surfaces.  I have two of these and they nseem to stay sharp forever, even with extensive use.

**Q: Are there replacement blades and parts for this?**
A: Judiann,  it looks like there could be but I don't sell any At this time.  I have a pair and they work great!   Probably will just buy another pair if and when these bite the dust!
