It was one of the most popular transport aircraft from World War II.Produced by the USA, it was also used by armies of other Allied countries.The C-47 was based on the civilian version of Douglas DC-3.It acted in principle on all fronts of World War II and was operated long after the war ended.It was used for landing paratroopers and towing gliders, as well as for transporting supplies, ammunition and evacuating the wounded.This new C-47 construction block model from COBI is presented in a special version of the D-Day Edition issued on the 75th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy. We have a few planes from this company and my son loves them. He had some challenges putting it together and a few things he had to take a part a few times. The instructions are good but I would say not as good as Lego as far as clarity.
