It is so nice to have a back story to go with the show I so adore. These books don't disappoint. They are the same characters I've come to know and love. Hope I don't run out of reading material anytime soon.

I gave this book five stars because I really like seeing this whole other side to Klaus to truly see how much he loved viv how hard it was for him to let her die when he brought her back from death truly painful I dislike how Klaus so easily gave in to lily knowing it was a trap he knew lily bringing viv back would cost him the price of her life once more well I recommend this book to anyone who watches the tv show to read more into the originals past and any newcomers all I can say is don't pass this good read over otherwise you'll be disappointed
