Review: Mounts well and yields good light - The magnetic base is not as smooth action for setting and releasing as a premium base is but it's acceptable, especially given that it won't get moved much if ever. The gripping power which is the bigger factor is very good. I throws good light and the switch feels good. Does what I want for my drill press application. I haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity, only initial experience.
