I happen to buy white blankets because I can bleach them and I believe that bleaching actually gets sheets, towel towels, washcloths, and blankets clean because you’re using that chlorine bleach to get rid of any bacteria or germs, especially when it has anything to do with laying your skin and your hair is oily people wear makeup lotion’s perfumes so that’s just my firm belief. Anything that you’re gonna use to sleep in or wash your face or body with or dry it with I believe it should be white and it should be bleached just because that bleach get things clean this blanket is soft. It’s durable. It’s a great size. It’s so comfy and cozy. It’s machine washable and drivable. It comes in a variety of different colors and sizes so you can order whatever color and size that you want. Did it make a difference with the softness on the blanket?** A: Dryer sheets actually ruin the softness of throws, blankets, towels, etc. the chemical that battles the static is left on your blanket. At first it feels soft but after a number of times ( and depending on the material it could happen fast) your blanket has a film on the fibers! It sometimes can be remedied by washing in vinegar and water but it has ruined towels for me and if you google it, for thousands of others. If you truly want to soften a towel or blanket and get rid of static, add a cup of vinegar to your rinse cycle or to your wash cycle. It is a wonderful cleaner but softens also. It doesn’t leave a smell. **Q: I have a queen size bed, but the last one i bought in qs is small and overhangs about 3" on both side. whould i get a king size? will is shrink?** A: We have a queen and I ordered a king size.
