This time, i decided to give this new model a try. Maybe I still need to give myself a bit more time to overcome the learning curve, but this model doesn't work as well for my straight Asian lashes. In using this, I realize that I need to hold the eyelash curler in place for a few seconds for my lashes to really curl. When using this curler, I will move it up my lashes a bit at a time and hold it in between to try to get the same look. It takes a little getting used to, but practice makes perfect.The instructions are a little confusing.. in one place they say to curl your lashes before applying your mascara. Then later it says it works best when mascara has already been applied. So I suggest you just try it both ways and see which way you like best, and which works best for the mascara you use. When I'm using plain mascara, I curl first.
