Weighing only 1.3 pounds, it combines lightweight handling with robust performance, ensuring safety and ease of use. ## Description The SIMPLEX series 3013 is available with the insert combination of TPE-soft / TPE-mid. Both inserts are thermoplastic elastomers and do not leave behind any color marring or - unlike a conventional rubber mallet - any undesired black marring. The blue TPE-soft insert (series 3201) is the softest insert of the SIMPLEX line and offers strong impact cushioning for work requiring a light touch. The grey, medium-hard TPE-mid insert (series 3203) allows for a more powerful impact force that is comparable to that of the composite rubber insert (series 3202). Made of cast iron, the housing comes with an integrated handle protection sleeve that provides for a high level of break resistance. Damping vibrations and shaped ergonomically, the high-quality wooden handle has a double coat of varnish in the grip area and is thus resistant to dirt. In line with the smart SIMPLEX principle, all components are replaceable and can be retrofitted. This translates to savings in both money and resources. ## Features - Gray Medium Hard TPE-Mid Insert: Provides powerful impact force for heavy duty tasks. - Blue TPE-Soft Insert: Strong impact cushioning for work that requires a light touch. - Excellent Break Resistance: Cast iron housing with an integrated handle protection sleeve. - Hickory Handle: High-quality, vibration-damping, and ergonomically shaped wooden handle. - Dirt Resistant: Grip area double coated with varnish to prevent dirt infiltration. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00QJ6XVF0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #220,372 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #168 in Mallets | | Brand Name | Halder | | Color | Blue Rubber/Grey Rubber Faces | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (459) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04030618300618 | | Grip Type | Rubber | | Handle Material | Hickory Wood | | Head Material | Cast Iron | | Head Style | Flat | | Included Components | Halder USA - Simplex Mallet with Soft Blue Rubber and Grey Rubber Inserts (3013.04) | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 12.8"L x 4.53"W x 1.57"Th | | Item Type Name | Mallet | | Item Weight | 1.4 pounds | | Manufacturer | Halder | | Manufacturer Part Number | 3013.04 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Manufacturer Defect Warranty | | Model Number | 3013.04 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Style Name | Mallet | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Halder - **Color:** Blue Rubber/Grey Rubber Faces - **Handle Material:** Hickory Wood - **Head Material:** Cast Iron - **Product Dimensions:** 12.8"L x 4.53"W x 1.57"Th ## Images ![Halder Simplex Mallet 40mm – Dual Faces, TPE-Soft & TPE-Mid Inserts, Cast Iron Housing with Protection Sleeve, Hickory Handle, Stone, Masonry & Assembly – 3013.040 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/410hlveevZL.jpg) ![Halder Simplex Mallet 40mm – Dual Faces, TPE-Soft & TPE-Mid Inserts, Cast Iron Housing with Protection Sleeve, Hickory Handle, Stone, Masonry & Assembly – 3013.040 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31Et9Hqmv4L.jpg) ![Halder Simplex Mallet 40mm – Dual Faces, TPE-Soft & TPE-Mid Inserts, Cast Iron Housing with Protection Sleeve, Hickory Handle, Stone, Masonry & Assembly – 3013.040 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Np2hfdqAL.jpg) ![Halder Simplex Mallet 40mm – Dual Faces, TPE-Soft & TPE-Mid Inserts, Cast Iron Housing with Protection Sleeve, Hickory Handle, Stone, Masonry & Assembly – 3013.040 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/4177lNrp6WL.jpg) ![Halder Simplex Mallet 40mm – Dual Faces, TPE-Soft & TPE-Mid Inserts, Cast Iron Housing with Protection Sleeve, Hickory Handle, Stone, Masonry & Assembly – 3013.040 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/516gXvkjoYL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: All of the images show a simplex 50-but I cannot tell if this link/page is for the simplex 50 model or another size.
