But when I opened the package, the wedge sprang into action. (Note: I did not see a Open Carefully warning when cutting the packaging sleeve? There should be one.) The product is great, just firm enough to support and not sink into. The angle works well for me and it is wide enough that I can turn and not fall off the side. It has helped somewhat in relieving my low back pain, but definitely has improved my breathing. It has good support. It could be a bit softer but it is not uncomfortable at all. I use a snore app so I can track my snoring and it is much improved.It is a bit uncomfortable sleeping on my side and I use a small flat pillow on the area between my back and the end of the wedge where the back hits. Sleeping on my back is very comfortable. It does have an unpleasant smell that after 5 days, has yet to disappear.I have the same problem with this pillow that I have had with all wedges, I slide down on it. I am 5 ft tall and weight 150,I bought it for GERD. It does help with that condition, but I need to keep re-situating myself because I slide down. I put a regular pillow on top of it for comfort and to avoid the smell of the wedge.
