I just want to know why they are not practical . They made these so fragile and Iv had to replace the salt and pepper cellar , my coffee canister and sugar bowl . I have granite and if you just bump these they chip and will break in half . For the price they should be sturdy . They are to cute to not be functional. The sugar bowl is not functional either and my sugar is hard within the first week so I use it for Splenda packs now .
