I checked the plastic package, and there was no odor to that brought itself was just awful. I just cited to wash it by hand in cold water to see if it was something that was on the broth itself. After doing so it’s still has enough sent that others would be able to smell it. I did try it on one time after washing, and the fit is wonderful.
