Not sure why. They appear to be the right strength (empirical judgement - but they work OK), they seem well constructed and so far are pretty comfortable. A clearer image than the last lot I bought from a supermarket. And for more money.These come with a hard case, a soft pouch, a cleaning cloth, and a bag with about 10 spare screws and a repair tool. All for £5.99! What's not to like?(PS: not worn them long enough to vouch for their endurability or their efficacy as 'computer glasses'. All I can say is that I bought 'Red or Dead' glasses when I first needed them, at about £100.00. They broke after 3 weeks.
