If they are, that trigger is dangerous, simply dangerous. As for hearing protection, these PLUS a quality pair of ear muffs (with a good seal around the ears) ought to do the job. **Q: Are these made in usa** A: Per the information on the back of the blister pack, the ear plugs are made in the USA, the cord is attached in Mexico, and the case is made in China . Hope this helps. **Q: are these the earplugs where the stem helps to insert ear plug then slides down the cord?** A: No. The orange plugs are comprised of 3 individual plugs, one slightly within the other. The cluster is attached to the end of a blue plastic cord. The outer plug works as the insert stem as well as a noise plug. The plugs are the most comfortable and offer the greatest noise supresence. Three pair are included in the package and are not only durable but easy to clean. They are a great bargain for the quality of product. **Q: are these good for studying quietly** A: They are good for studying. They can't block all the noise, but it's enough to reduce it at a point that it won't disturb me. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually keeps sound out and protects your ears. *by on Reviewed in the United States September 4, 2026* I have tried all of the overhead ear muffs/ cheap and expensive and you can still hear a lot of noise and after I use my mower my ears hurt. These are better than the over head by far. They actually plug into your ears. It just takes a little practice to get them in. It’s a little easier if your ears are hot and sweaty to get them in. I also have out the overhead ear muffs/ protection over these…but now I just use them without as the overhead tend to hurt my ears. I use these for commercial mowers and blowers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Earplugs I’ve Tried *by on Reviewed in the United States August 30, 2026* These are very easy to insert and remove and they block noise very well. I’ve never been able to get a good seal with the compressible foam type earplugs, but these work very well. These are a huge improvement over any other earplugs I’ve used ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional and Compact. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 1, 2026* Overall, good product.Functionally, works very well. These have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 25 dB. I compared them to my ear muffs with NRR of 23 dB, and these earplugs from 3M do in fact, block out noise better (while shooting at the range and while playing really loud music). Impressive.I also really like that they are so small and compact and even comes with compact carrying case. These earplugs from 3M take up way less space than my ear muffs and that is a plus. These 3M earplugs are so much easier to insert into ear canals compared to traditional foam earplugs that have to be rolled and compressed before inserting. These 3M earplugs are as comfortable as traditional foam earplugs and appear to be as durable if not more durable.I like that the earplugs are attached to a lanyard/cord (can drape around neck and access quickly). The only shortcoming was that it only came in one color; that bright safety orange commonly used in hunting. It would have been nice to have some different color choices. Other than that, good value for price. ## Frequently Bought Together - 3M Corded Reusable Earplugs, 3 Pack, Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) 25 dB, Easy To Use & Insert, Pliable & Tri-Flange Design Enhances Comfort & Fit, Orange Ear Plugs (90716H3-DC) - Peltor Sport Tri-Flange Corded Reusable Earplugs, 3 Pair, Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) 26 dB, Comfortable Fit, Ideal For Range, Shooting & Hunting, Washable and Corded, Neon Yellow (97317-10C) - Banded Earplugs for Shooting Range Band Ear Plugs Lightweight Silicone Earplugs for Hearing Protection, Noise Reduction, Work, Construction, Sleeping, Concerts, Motor Sports Racing (4 Pieces) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/13497479-corded-reusable-earplug-3-pair-with-case](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/13497479-corded-reusable-earplug-3-pair-with-case) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
