If I want to look pulled together in a hurry, I just do my hair up in a bun and pin this over it. The look is really nice. The color on this particular piece is pretty monochromatic, though, unlike my own hair. So I went to the Vanessa Grey web site and ordered a multi-colored one that works better with my own color. It is really hard to tell what these pieces are going to look like when you're seeing them on a computer monitor. Luckily, they're not really expensive. And once you figure out what the numbers mean, you can get a decent sense of how they'll match. I recently bought a pony tail with a spring clip inside. I had to take the clip out. It was just too uncomfortable to wear for very long, and it looked a little odd, sticking out so far in the back. Once I got the clip out and replaced it with a couple of plain wire hair combs, it worked much better. This little piece just has a couple of small wig combs sewn in -- and a drawstring.
