It included the plastic circles to be painted, a set of paint, a paintbrush, and a sheet of adhesive magnet material. Be aware that the circles are about the size of quarters and dimes so painting can be a bit tedious if you are trying to do anything detailed. Everything in the kit worked as expected and it was a lot of fun. As a side note in case you try other paints than what comes with (I wanted more colors so I purchased tempera paint separately), it seems tempera paint started to flake and peel off after it dried, so I quickly applied a layer of clear coat nail polish to preserve it. The paint that comes with the set is acrylic and did not peel, so it may be smartest to stick with aryclic. Review: a few things that could be better - magnets were way way way too small can't understand why you don't just send precut magnetic strips instead of having to cut them off of a sheet. bought these for my daughters class party but b/c the paint takes too long too dry - couldn't send them home with the kids. Would recommend quick dry paint (paint pens would be even better) and self adhesive precut magnetic strips.
