Also, my bookshelf has a lot of technical books, and I thought this would be less obvious than the common Dictionary. The safe has a cloth cover, and looks very convincing. The only reason that I gave it four stars is that the lock feels a bit cheap. NOTE: the instructions for setting the combination are not fully correct. The lever for setting the combination is orange plastic. It appears that the lever has a larger square base attached. However, the square is not rigidly connected to the lever, and the square must be pulled away from the back of the lock for the lever to be moved. This is not obvious, and until I discovered this, I could not move the lever and assumed the lock was broken. Also, rotating the combination wheels with the door closed, requires pressing the door tightly closed with the other hand. Without this pressure, I could not always rotate the wheels. ### ⭐ Not even worth $2 let alone $30 *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2017* Literally the worst crap I've bought. I bought two, one red and one blue, and both were just really poorly made. They came with dark marks all over the covers, which I'm guessing was the glue that seeped in from gluing the cover onto the box. It looks like someone took a pen and scribbled all over it. The red one didn't look as bad as the blue but it was still pretty bad. Not to mention on BOTH of the boxes, the covers came off of the metal box with no resistance. I don't know what kind of glue they used but it's clearly not the right one. The dials on both weren't even that great either. There was really only one direction to turn them because it would get stuck turning them the other way. Literally the only good thing about it is that it's the only book lock box on Amazon that is actually big enough to put things in but I don't think the size alone can defend this monstrosity. I'm sending them back because there is no way I am spending any amount of money on these. I bought another lock box that was half the price and like every other one on Amazon and did a comparison too. I'd still rather go for the small one than this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great item *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2010* I am happy with my purchase, as this item seems very sturdy and is a very good size for putting your valuables or private items in. I did read the other review before buying and was worried about setting the combination lock, but it did come with instructions and once I realized there is a safety locking feature covering it, it was easily set. I do have some difficulty when closing it up, as the combination lock doesn't always want to move from the 'unlocked' position and I also wish the title of the 'book' was a bit more generic, as the title it comes with, "Aluminum Composites," doesn't really fit my style and sort of sticks out because of it.
