It is my understanding that original backpack with the leather bottom is still in use to this day. As it was fashionable back then, my parents would buy me a new backpack each yeah till I hit high school. Only then would I replace the backpack when it was needed, and did it take a ton of abuse. Today I'm sporting another Luxury brand, but my girlfriend wears this backpack and it eventually finds it way back to me every so often. These things are timeless, they look great, they clean up easy, and you even see them alongside the hard-coded, overpriced bag side by side as a demonstration of their uniqueness status. A true, timeless classic.
