I've used this type of product for 40 years(I HATE the heat) and this current product performs like one that the material finally gave out on, on my 40 year old one. Don't know what the naysayers expect, but for 9 bucks, this is everything it needs to be. It lasts a pretty good amount of time about 3 good hours with just cold water when worn around my neck. I've also worn it around my head and it feels great when you're working in the backyard on a warm day. I like the material doesn't feel cheap. There's this foamy, gel core thing sewn into the scarf that really retains the moisture to prolong the cooling. I'm definitely going to buy a couple more of these. One for indoor use and one for outdoor use and so I can cycle between different scarves.
