The threading and overall finishing is up there with the known branded bags. The material is synthetic leather. The handle is firm and similar to those square briefcases our fathers use to use on their way to work.WEIGHT:At 5.3lbs this is quite a hefty piece. And you feel it the moment you pick it up.DURABILITY:The courts still out on this, since the item isl brand new and hasn't been put through it's paces. Will update on this in about 7-18 months time. If anything happens to it prior that, then will mention it as soon as possible.INTERIOR:3 open air partitions that can take in notebooks or a laptop. Another partition that is closed using a zip rounds it up to a total of 4. So you have adequate compartments for your various items. Today I saw one starting to peek out and opened up the purse. Both cards were falling out. I would not use the card slots. Nice looking, artificial leather. Time will tell if it holds up. If I like the style and function, I might invest in a true leather one. Out of the box, it is very stiff.
