The difference in audio quality with it on versus off is clear — it tames the plosives and wind noise that the Blue Yeti picks up without one. The build quality is better than I expected at this price point. It fits securely and doesn't slip around, and the foam is dense enough that it feels like it'll hold up over time. It also fits onto my mic stand without any fuss, which not all of these do. If you're using a Blue Yeti for any kind of content creation, this is an easy, inexpensive addition that actually makes a difference. No complaints. Review: Fits more than just a Yeti - I bought these for my blue yeti as ASMR props. These mics sound great with fluffy covers or with scratching on the regular style foam cover. It functioned great for these purposes. Good size that fit snugly. When my blue yeti developed a buzz I was more sad that I was going to loose the sounds these created, as it is a staple of ASMR. I got a Movo UM800 hoping these would fit and they do! They actually fit the Movo better than the Yeti, as the movo has a larger capsule. They are both great for traditional microphone applications as well, the foam cover stops enough hiss and plosives to smooth out the voice, and the fluffy cover stops most wind to the point I can blow on it and it doesn't make a blowing peaking sound. Great value all around, and quality is great too. If mine wear out in the future I will buy this brand again without question, as I've been using them for more than a year at this point. ## Features - 2-IN-1 VALUE BUNDLE — Get two premium windscreens in one pack: a high-density foam cover for indoor studio use, plus a fluffy furry wind muff (Dead Cat) for outdoor/on-location recording. Best for: The foam windscreen is best for protecting the microphone from wind noises, pops, and loud thuds while speaking. Furry-Purpose: The purpose of the deadcat is to reduce any pickup noises in the mic from the wind. Best for: The deadcat is mostly used for outdoor mic recording. If it is a windy day, you can bring your deadcat outside and begin recording. **Q: Looking to minimize keyboard clicking noise will this help?** A: The black one will more. But also depends on what kind of mic you have. I have the yeti and it works great with the mics functions. **Q: Can you use it on iPhones?** A: I don’t think so because the software would be difficult to operate on the phone. I don’t know this for certain, but in my experience it works better on a laptop (or Chromebook). **Q: It's working for Yeti X?** A: Yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple Upgrade, Noticeable Difference *by D***V on April 18, 2026* I've been using this regularly for a few weeks for podcasting and streaming, and it's already earned a permanent spot on my setup. It works well whether I'm sitting at the computer or moving around the room. I also use it when I have Zoom Dance lessons. When I place it on the floor, my tap coach can hear my steps clearly and I don't have to shout when I'm speaking from across the room. It's really easy to set up: simply plug-and-play. It's got a nice weight to it--very sturdy--and the non-skid bottom keeps it from sliding. I recommended it to my dance teacher, who's planning to start podcasting. He noticed the difference in the sound quality when I switched from my laptop's built-in mike to the Blue Yeti. I highly recommend this mike. It's a good price and I love the color! ## Frequently Bought Together - YOUSHARES 2PCS Blue Yeti Pop Filter for Blue Yeti Microphone, Yeti Foam Windscreen with Dead Cat Blue Yeti Mic Cover for Yeti Mic and Blue Yeti Pro USB Microphone - Logitech Creators Blue Yeti USB Microphone for Gaming, Streaming, Podcast, YouTube, Discord, PC, Studio Sound, Plug & Play-Blackout - Blue 10FT Long USB Cable Cord Wire for Snowball iCE & Yeti USB Mic - Replacement Cord (See Compatibility Details Below) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/132329981-youshares-2pcs-foam-windscreen-for-blue-yeti-and-yeti-pro](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/132329981-youshares-2pcs-foam-windscreen-for-blue-yeti-and-yeti-pro) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
