Antica Italia Aged Italian Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP 16.9 Ounce (500ml)

Bought this many many times. Excellent well rounded balsamic vinegar. This is not the thick syrupy sweet glaze type balsamic. It has the liquid consistency of a nice full body burgundy wine. Dependably good.

As other reviewers pointed out, it is -really- runny, but it also has a really strong flavor to it. I use it for salads and mixed with a little olive oil and it works great! The nice thing about the olive oil method is also that you can decide how strong of flavor you're looking for. I imagine for other cooking methods it would work equally well due to the strength of the flavor.For the price, it works well. If you're just starting out with balsamic vinegar I would really recommend it, but I can see why those with more experience with the flavor might opt for a more expensive choice.

I only have about 2 brands of balsamic vinegars that I will use for my everyday salad. This is my favorite. It's priced well so doesn't need to wait for 'special occasion' use. It's smooth and has nice body to it when pouring. And the flavor is never acidic. I used to be able to buy it in the Italian grocery store down here, but they stopped carrying it. Thank goodness for Amazon!

If the only balsamic vinegar you have had is from the grocery store then be prepared to have your taste buds blown away! This is what balsamic should taste like, rich, smooth, complex and NO acidic burn. I find this vinegar to have a sweet/tart balance that is just wonderful. It isn't syrupy thick but it is definitely thicker than the supermarket brands. The only salad dressing I use is Olive oil and Balsamic which has now reached the next level. I am highly impressed and absolutely recommend.

If you don't mind it when everytime you unscrew the top that the pouring cap comes off and more vinegar than you desire pours everywhere then you will like this balsamic. This is the third time I purchased this and the "cap issue" as we call it has happened. I liked the taste so much that I keep trying to see if they will resolve this issue but it just happened again. I decided to buy a separate dispenser to avoid cap issue.

Based on the reviews I took a chance & purchased this Balsamic... I’m glad I did. Taste is great & I’m enjoying my salad again. I had gotten a different brand from keyfood which was disgusting & too acidic. I ended up throwing it away. The size of bottle & price on this was spot on. Yes I highly recommend for picking ppl like myself.
