Yes, it adds a bit of weight but that doesn’t s negated if you’re using an ebike.Running Tannus armour with smart slime inner tubes on Maxis 29 x 2.4’s back & front & haven’t really noticed a discernible difference in roll feel.I have peace of mind knowing that if I have a puncture whilst far away from home or base, that if the slime doesn’t self heal the injure tube then I can ride the bike on the flat tyre thanks to the Tannus armour which effectively turns your wheels/tyre combo into run flats.
