A day of apple saucing left a horrible mess on my glass-top stove. Bits of apple sauce got burned onto the surface, and NOTHING I tried could get the mess off... except this scouring cloth. I previously tried two separate glass-top cleaning pastes, a razor blade, long soaks with various cleaners on the surface. The residue just would not yield. (Be warned that the cloth might have left a few very minor scratches in the glass, but then again they may have been a result of my attempts with the razor blade.) Regardless, I'd rather have a few very light scratches than an ugly mess. It seriously was keeping me up at night.
