Besides understanding how to use this to test cables the one annoyance I had was with how the alligator add on clips attached to the probes. On one occasion it did not make good contact an I had deceiving test results.This unit has an low ohms resistance measurement which was good for confirming motor winding continuity. I used this to test my submersible pump and wiring and it worked well.Be careful with your connections because you can damage the unit if used improperly. All power must be off and capacitors discharged. Do not get confused with ohm reading hookup with megaohm insulator testing hookup.
