This model comes with a carafe, which uses larger brew pods. The larger pods were borrowed from the Vue, so by using this adapter, the Keurig's 12 and 14 oz brewing sizes become selectable.If you're going to use it for this purpose, I'd recommend a couple of modifications to the adpater.- First, you **must** remove the top lid. The Keurig 2.0 will not close if the lid is installed. Fortunately the lid is easy to remove. Keep in mind though that you won't be able feed this thing with your own ground coffee. Without the lid the coffee grounds would spill out of the adapter and probably clog up your Keurig. If you want to homebrew with this adapter, I'd suggest buying one of the adapter pods that have their own lids such as the  Ekobrew Stainless Steel Elite, Refillable K-Cup For Keurig K-Cup Brewers .- Next, drill a hole in the bottom of the adapter. This allows the brewed coffee to flow out of the bottom of the adapter instead of having to make its way up the little spout at the front. I used a 1-inch hole saw to cut out most of the base, leaving just enough of a lip for the needle adapter to sit snugly.- Finally, let your inner rebel shine. If, like me, you can't stand the idea of being a slave to buying "official" Keurig K-cup pods, get one of the various "freedom clips" such as the  MyClip Freedom Clip Sensor, for Keurig 2.0 Brewers, Brew ANY K-CUP - Works with ALL 2.0 Brewers .
