However, it is silky smooth on both sides as you would expect with real silk. If you wear this as a headscarf like I plan to, it keeps hair so nice and smooth. I noticed an immediate difference from my satin "silk feel" bonnet. This stays on your head all night and leaves hair feeling better than when you went to sleep! I ordered 2. The orchid print one was located in china, so it took a while to arrive but it still arrived way earlier than expected thankfully.
