This multiplexer takes i2c clock and data and breaks it out to 8 channels. This device (the multiplexer) appears on the i2c address 0x70 and has a register that allows you to enable and disable specific i2c channels. This allowed me to put an AS5600 on 3 different channels, and I can then simply select which i2c bus is active at any time and read the information from the sensor. You can have multiple "buses" connected at once, but in my case I simply needed one at a time so that I could read all 3 sensors as if they were the only connected device. It's a really good device for this kind of situation and works perfectly, it's also incredibly easy to drive so there's no tedious writing of drivers for it before you even get to the meat of your project. Have tested the board with 5 screens working on a breadboard. Not enough room for the 6th screenon the breadboard. Worked perfectly.
