## Description

A set of Gundam Marker pouring inking pens, which making inking and doing panel lines easy when you press the pen nib on to an item. This is a set of 6 pens including 3 new color pens; blue, orange and olive green and an eraser pen in addition to the existing color pens; gray and brown. Do not use the pen to paint over other paint such as Mr. Color. If it is used over other paint, the ink will dissolve base coat.

Review: An easy and fast way to quality panel lines - Ignore the negative review for these pens; these are intended to be very thin paints so that they fill thin panel lines through capillary action, and they do so quite well. Basically you press the pen gently into the panel line, and it should fill with color. If the whole thing doesn't fill: try again further down the line. Wait a few minutes for the ink to dry, and gently clean-up the excess with a cotton swab with a little alcohol on it, brushing parallel with the panel line. There's an "eraser" pen in here too, and that's just basically mineral spirits in a pen. You're supposed to use the eraser pen by pressing it onto the tip of a cotton swab to get a small amount, and then use the cotton swab to clean the excess from your panel-lining. You're not supposed to use the pen tip itself; if you use the pen itself: it will get dirty, and may spread the color around. There's probably a way to use the pen tip while keeping it clean -- maybe it can be removed -- but I have not tried, that that's not what is indicated on the packaging. When the "eraser" pen runs out: mineral spirits work just fine, but you don't want to soak your cotton swabs, or you'll fill your panel with spirits via the same capillary action, and you'll ruin your panel line; you just want the swab to have a couple drops of alcohol at most. Keep in-mind that these paint pens are intended for use on bare plastic; if used on painted surfaces: they could damage and/or bleed into the other paint. I accidentally dripped some on my dining table, and the ink ate right through the finish to the bare wood. Overall these can be used to really bring out the detail in plastic model kits with fine molded details, like RG and MG Gundam kits. These pens are for people who just want to stick with the default color of the plastic, and/or don't want to invest the time in painting the entire kit, and they work incredibly well for that.

**Q: Would these be good for wing gundam ?**
A: These pens have a hard plastic tip which allows the very thin pigment to flow out into the panel lines. Works for any Gundam.

**Q: is this ABS plastic safe, i'm assuming it's not and you should use this to panel line parts before you put them together?**
A: I've unintentionally cracked ABS parts with these. You'll want to top coat first before panel lining with these pens.

**Q: Can you use this over acrylic paints? The item description says that using it over paint would cause the base coat to dissolve.**
A: No, the paint doesn't stay on to acrylic paints surface.  You can use it to touch up small area such as gap / in-between line.

**Q: Is there a black marker in this set? I see the gray and brown I want, but not black.**
A: The colors included are gray, brown, blue, orange, and olive.

Been building Gunpla for a long time and can't emphasize enough that this is how you make your builds look so much cooler. The pictures are from a build I did today and all of the weathering and panel lining were done with this markers and a file. They last FOREVER too. I don't build often but they have easily lasted me a year. I only had to replace my last ones because I lost them. Would reccomend practice on HGs before you go nuts on your MG or higher kits.
