Unfortunately, when I tried it on her, it was huge! So I returned it and ordered a medium. It arrived today and the fit is absolutely perfect for her! I'm not sure yet about durability, comfort, etc. I noticed the description of the previous vest said it had reinforced stitching and this one doesn't seem to have it, so I'm curious to see how it holds up. I have a 3 month old 20-30lb German Shepherd. I bought a medium and He's got plenty room to grow into it. My only concern is that the last underbelly strap sits a little too close to his man parts. If he pees he might hit the strap. This could be fixed with a little growing but as of now that's my only concern. Everything else looks great and functions great so farEdit: I've had it for a couple weeks now. It is still 100% functioning. It doesn't irritate my dog at all and he is growing and still has plenty room to grow into it. The handle near the rear has come in handy ALOT when his collar is quickly out of reach. Combined with the leash, this is perfect for my service animal. We've been using it ( every day) for a month now, it shows no signs of wear or tearing. My animal is very comfortable in it, It's a breathable mesh material, so In the warmth he's fine and the cold, I can put some clothes on him.Having gone through 3 similar harnesses in a couple years, I did some research before spending more money on a harness. Everything I read about this harness was correct. I couldn't be happier.
