The Super Target Systems Bullet Trap 12" x 12" features a patented design combining a 1" self-healing ballistic rubber face with an enclosed steel cage to safely capture and contain bullets from .22 up to .45 ACP and .357 Magnum calibers. Its eco-friendly construction reduces lead dust and noise, while portability and replaceable panels ensure long-lasting, hassle-free use for professional and enthusiast shooters alike.

## Description

The most advanced and cost-effective portable bullet trap on the market, part of our Slim-Design series of portable traps covering multiple pistol calibers and bullet energy types. It offers a quick, easy setup and deployment. It is made from steel and unlike other traps, it includes a ballistic rubber panel, self-healing, positioned in front of the steel cage. This helps reduce the lead dust generated and escaping the steel cage and keeps the bullet fragments inside instead of polluting the environment. The front rubber panel also reduces the noise generated when hitting the backplate. Other features: -Can sustain .22, 9 mm, .38 special, .40, .45 ACP and equivalent -Can sustain up to .357 and .44 Magnum pistol calibers ammo when filled with ballistic rubber mulch -Easy assembly and maintenance. -Removable steel backplate. -Handle for increased portability. -Bolt holes that can be used to hold the trap in place during shooting sessions. -Cage top lip for clipping paper targets (targets can also be pinned on the rubber face. -Rubber panel replacement available under ASIN: B07MC2ZMW1. Note 1: The usual lead dust generated upon bullet impact on backplate during the shooting session, especially when using higher calibers, can be significantly reduced if the trap is filled with ballistic rubber mulch. This will further increase its stopping power, lifespan, and makes it even quieter. Regular rubber mulch can be bought in hardware stores. Review: Love hitting this box - Hefty trap! So far I’ve run 300 rounds into this (ok, probably peppered 5-10 in the dirt zeroing in a new scope) and it essentially looks brand new. There is a distinct ping when the round strikes the back wall of this unit. I don’t find it distracting, but rather affirming (again, zeroing a new sight). Not terribly loud either. I’ve not yet attempted 9mm rounds, only .22LR from roughly 150 -250 feet. No visible damage on back wall of the trap. It can be a bit challenging to lug around and could be greatly improved by adding a handle or at least a lip from which to grab. It’s uniformity and bottom-heaviness Just make it slightly ...keyword “slightly” ...awkward. Not problematic enough to deduct a star. I’ve only used one type of adhesive target since my purchase, so I’m not sure if the colder weather, the target itself or the ballistic material on the face of this trap caused the target to peel and roll slightly. My gut says it’s due to temperatures in the mid-30°s. Only minimal peeling was noticed, but worth mentioning. If you’re hesitant to make this purchase, I hope I’ve helped. I’m very impressed with the quality and expect to get Years of use out of this. This is an unbiased, unpaid review from a regular dude sitting on a couch in central Ohio who enjoys “group therapy” in my back 40!

Hefty trap! So far I’ve run 300 rounds into this (ok, probably peppered 5-10 in the dirt zeroing in a new scope) and it essentially looks brand new. There is a distinct ping when the round strikes the back wall of this unit. I don’t find it distracting, but rather affirming (again, zeroing a new sight). Not terribly loud either. I’ve not yet attempted 9mm rounds, only .22LR from roughly 150 -250 feet. No visible damage on back wall of the trap. It can be a bit challenging to lug around and could be greatly improved by adding a handle or at least a lip from which to grab. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super Target Systems Bullet Trap 12" x 12", 1" Ballistic Rubber Face, perfect for my PCP Airgun.

I have a high powered Texan .457 SS Airgun. It shoots hard and will completely penetrate just about any wood I shoot at. I bought the Super Target Systems Bullet Trap 12" x 12", 1" Ballistic Rubber Face to make my shooting experience safer. I was amazed at how the Bullet trap stopped and collected the high speed slugs. I shot it in several different locations on the target and got the same result each time. A stopped and collected .45 caliber bullet. The front of the target is a ballistic rubber face plate. The rear of the target is a steel plate. The front rubber plate slows the projectile and the rear steel plate stops the projectile completely. The self sealing rubber face plate does not allow any fragments or dust to escape.
