SiOnyxAurora Full-Color Digital Night Vision Camera

This is primarily being sold as a digital night vision device, maybe don't put big bright LEDs on it? (not noticeble to the camera, noticeable to whatever you're hiding from). Also the eye relief is non existent - you have to be pretty much touching your face to get a full view (this kit comes with a pic rail mount to put it on a gun), and if you move back more than an inch or so the screen shuts off (it comes back on if you get closer, but still).The quality looking through it is good, with an ir illuminator anyway. This is my first NV device, though so take this with a grain of salt. That said, I mounted this to a weapon and was able to navigate around my small cluttered house with little problem in total darkness. I can't speak to long range but I'd feel confident I could use this to ID a threat inside 15 yards... Except as is the threat would also be IDing me at the same time due to the previously mentioned lights. I suppose I can try painting or putting duct tape over them.

Liked the product but was missing parts. Only option offered was to return product. UPS has completed delivery back a week ago. No word from Amazon.

Picatinny Rail Mount for the Aurora missing .. not in kit.

Took too long to hook up with my phone...battery did not last long, missing pieces...piss poor support system..

It's better than anything I used in the Army... but the kit is over priced. You can buy all the things in this kit including the box for probably less than 600 dollars. If you're lazy, this is what you want. But for me, I'd rather put my own kit together.

The quality of the night vision with low light levels and the IR illuminator is pretty good. The IR beam IS invisible to the eye. The emitter however IS NOT invisible to the eye and glows red fairly brightly. The kit was missing the weapon mount. If you're not mounting to a weapon, I'd recommend the Aurora Sport.

Not cheap by any means, but high quality and is just down right amazing! Glad I pulled the trigger and purchased, very pleased!

I love this camera for it’s night vision, however, I can’t stand that it doesn’t auto focus. I’ve literally stopped using it and moved my GoPros.
