What are the points on the 2 edges for?** A: You can use these boards for just about anything. They are prototyping boards for designing your own circuits or using templates to make circuits. There are many YouTube videos to show you how to utilize them. There are no trace lines so you can add your own or you can simply solder the holes together to make your own lines. The points on the edges are called solder pads where you can solder switches, power points, or various other components that you don't want/need to go through to the other side (component side) of the board giving you more options for your circuits.
