Other separators seem to have forks 22mm which cannot get into the joint. Hammering wasn’t working. This tool arrived and is made of very substantial parts. It inserts fully into the joint without impinging on the boot, covering the bolt well. Using the hydraulic screw separated the heavily salt corroded joint with relative ease.
