Shockingly simple...so why aren't you doing it?
The best part about this book is that every suggestion made by the author is something you already have the power to do. As Alex points out repeatedly throughout the book, using the science of positive psychology, you can dramatically improve your sales, regardless of what you're selling or who you're selling to. I would go so far as to suggest that applying even just one of the many tips provided in the book will increase your sales. Apply three or four and you'll be doing gangbusters.Easy to read and easy to apply, you'll find yourself shaking your head and saying to yourself "Why haven't I been doing this all along?" Don't wait another day; buy a copy for yourself and your whole sales team!

Perspective shift
This is the second book I have read from Alex Goldfayn and I have been a regular subscriber to his weekly ezine for about 5 years now. Once again, in this book he has helped me regain perspective on professional selling. After 33 years in this role and grateful for the many successes I have enjoyed in serving customers, I had lost my way over the past few years and had allowed fear to overtake me in many ways. Selling Boldly provides a reminder that I can and do provide value to my customers and blueprint for regaining the proper mindset for success.

Pick up the phone!
Slow down on email activity and pick up the phone! That's my big takeaway from Alex's book, and it works. Proactive, effective marketing can be nothing more than being a 'friend' to your customers in this world that's becoming more digital and impersonal every day. People respond to this. Alex makes a great case for this and it doesn't cost much in time and next to nothing in hard dollars. A great, easy read.

Motivates to be Proactive
I loved Selling Boldly. It gets your salesman mind focused on the positive, and gives you simple tools to increase sales. I have used techniques from this book with my company, and have noticed great results! It took salesman that were stuck in a rut, and focused them on doing a couple proactive things per day to increase business. Recommended read for anyone in sales or running a company!

Selling Boldly is a mindset change.
This book is well written and easy to read. Alex's simple to follow steps really do help you to "sell boldly" by getting past your fear of selling and actually doing. I've had several meaningful conversations with my clients just by using the techniques and tools Alex freely shares. Finding reasons to connect with you customer instead of selling to your customer is key to growing your sales. This is a book is a "must have" for anyone wanting to increase their sales.

He lays it out in a very easy to understand perspective
Alex is honest and fair. He is upfront with you and he isn't sugar coating what we need to do to succeed in our respective professions. He lays it out in a very easy to understand perspective, spend time and energy with those that trust you and have confidence in you. I find Alex's books very easy to read and comprehend because they both are very fundamental; stay in contact with your clients/customers, ensure they know all that you can do for them, build deeper stronger relationships with them, then ask for more and you will get more.The challenge of course is to actually do what Alex recommends. The steps and processes that Alex lays out with his templates and worksheets within the book have helped me tremendously. Keep up the hard work and I anticipate more to come from Alex Goldfayn. Continued success!

There is no try.... Only Do
Spoiler alert - it’s unlikely he will tell you anything you don’t already know. Except, you’re not doing it! If you were, you’re probably not out looking at business books. So what is it? It’s a great reminder that you need to call your clients, ask for referrals & testimonials, follow up on quotes and write a hand written note now & again. He lays it out with great stories and examples and shows the all important ROI. An easy read. Highly recommend.

Alex clearly states that there are no magic bullets or ...
Alex clearly states that there are no magic bullets or hidden secrets to sales. Any successful sales person knows this and knows what they need to do. But he does offer some (easy) planning and organization that complements our existing tools and can move us incrementally forward in our results....and more substantially forward in our thinking...to give us more peace in our success. If we sold 10-20% more per year and did it with more peace of mind, this would be the dream career it is meant to be.

More Than A Sales Book
I was recommended to read Selling Boldly from a business connection. Not only did a learn so much about sales, but I also learned about business and personal development. Alex’s book is easy to read and even easier to implement.My favourite chapter was the 10 Critical Mindshifts for Dramatic Sales Growth. The pages on My Children’s Trees were my favourite part of the book; storytelling, emotion and persistence at its best. Buy this book now
