Very strong and sturdy. I also like that they have their own little tin to keep them from getting lost or separated. What I don't like so much is the built-in nail file. It sounds like a neat idea until you actually go to use it, and find that (assuming you clip your nails short) you can't file your nails without filing your fingertip at the same time. The smooth area around the file prevents you from getting it up onto your nail, and god help you if you need to get in and file a sharp corner.
