ANSIO 20" Floor Cooling Fan Electric Fan High Airflow Powerful 3 Speed Fan Cooler portable Metal fan with 110 Degrees Vertical tilt

20in Floor/gym fan, no remote, 3 blow settings, none oscillating, only manual tilt up/down to fixed position. Easy to assemble, legs simply click on in one piece, that's it ready to plug in -see picture. Only tried on first setting to date and that is very powerful, very happy with fan, feels professional. The 1st setting fills the living room with air flow, moves our heavy curtains. The sound is a pleasant steady clean whirl. Sturdy. Has handle on back to carry. Will be a game changer in summer heat. Bit expensive at £74.97 21st May 2020 -but if it last a few years at this level of performance it'll be up there with one of my best buys come the summer months.

I have an old, smaller, desktop version of this and thought that the standard metal fan just wasn't very strong, so last year during the heatwave spent a lot of money on an electric tower fan. However, I with this year's heatwave I felt I needed yet another so got this thinking maybe if I used it in conjunction with the smaller version hopefully that'd be enough. In fact, this is much more than enough - this is a fantastically strong fan! I've not as yet needed it on more than 1, but it's nice to know that there's another 2 speeds to help me cope with whatever the weather brings (3 nearly blows me off my feet!). I suppose I could grumble that there's no remote, or that it doesn't oscillate but it's so good that I only have to leave it in a corner facing slightly up and it cools the whole room. The only slight quibble I do have is that there are quite sharp edges at both sides where the fan meets which can hurt a bit if you walk into it! Well worth the occasional bruise though, extremely impressed.

Very easy to assemble only thing is that it is a bit loud. Annoys some people in the house hold but I like it and iT is a soft noise.Very powerful and does the job

It's very powerful, will blow air on you from 3 metres away. It's also very sturdy and looks smart when compared with other fans I've had previously. It's a little noisy which is great during the night for some white noise but not so great if you are watching TV etc. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

To write this review I have to distinguish between two types of noise a fan makes.Fan noise.Build noise.Concerning fan noise, this is the sound of the propeller cutting through air as well as moving air. You will never get rid of this noise, and the faster and bigger the blades move the worse it will invariably get. Blade profiles can only mitigate the degree of noise.That said, this fan appears to be the quietest of these big 18" floor types I have had. On its minimum setting it is roughly as loud as a pedestal fan on maximum whilst pushing significantly more air.Build noise.This concerns how well the construction is. Every other fan of this type I have had rattles or clunks like all hell and this is entirely due to poor/stupid build quality and design.This fan has none of that. The build quality is excellent, sturdy, tight and contributes nothing to noise levels.That said, this thing pushes a significant amount of air in any setting and has been a life saver during the recent heatwaves. I have a small flat, and despite the size etc... I do not find this fan to be intrusive when it is functioning. I am able to leave it about 2 meters outside my bedroom to push air into it without the sound interfering with sleep overnight, and my spouse particularly hates the sound of a running fan.I have only had it 1 month now, running at roughly 10-12 of 24 hours a day straight. Other than that I cannot speak to its longevity beyond this.When this gives up the ghost, I'm getting another one.

Really well made, bought as a fan for the dog as he suffers terribly in the hot (yes rare I know) and humid weather as he is a Newfoundland. He's been practically glued to it and loves it ever since we've had it. Not too noisy either considering the size of it - the dog manages to fall asleep in front of it! It's very powerful and does exactly what we needed. Delivery was quick too

Superb - not noisy, use it in the bedroom and it’s not at all intrusive. My wife is a light sleeper and it passes her test. The real reason I bought it was to use on stage when playing with my band....I really suffer under poweful stage lights, but since using this fan, I’m as cool as the music we play and I’m much less fatigued. This thing is a winner, best addition to my stage rig - and home - in ages. Plenty have already asked me about this and where I got it from, so Ansio’s sales should spike!
