With a full tang and a razor sharp blade that passed the "shave off your arm hair test", it's a quality piece. The hard case works perfectly. You insert the knife and it pops into place. I carry it horizontal at the small of my back, and despite the whole apparatus getting hooked on something or other, the knife stays put in it's case. Yet, it pops right out when you pull it correctly, according to instructions. Also, it easily converts from vertical to horizontal carry. I will definitely buy another with a different blade shape just because. And it shipped fast. Great price. Love it.

very high quality blade for the price would of gave it 5 stars but mine came very dull and had a nick in the blade. I sharpened extensively takes a decent edge but seems to lose it fairly quickly doing mundane task. Very thick blade stock, full tang, this knife won't break easily. Seems more suited for camp chores. Excellent chopper with all that belly overall a great knife for a decent price doesnt hold an edge amy microtech, microtech, benchmade,extrema ratio or spyderco but a great value knife able to get a full grip with very aggressive jimping in case you need a little better grip. highly recommended. Slightly heavy for some as an edc.
