I get contact dermatitis from a number of things, but trying these after a wash gave me NO problems (and I had a faint vanilla smell - it could be worse). So I am not allergic to it (and I'm allergic to a BUNCH of stuff). We're several months in now - I held off on reviewing to see if the "fragrance" was really a problem. Nope. After a few more washings and wearings, I've had no issues and little to no scent remains. They've held up beautifully being washed and machine dried! I have bought them in black and "nude" (the color is "light" in the order screen) at this point. No crocking (dye-bleed/transfer) whatsoever with the black, and the "nude" ones keep looking "nude" (not that tired, washed out, ugly "old beige" that you start to get with other undies).
