I'm currently using it to zest oranges to make oleo-saccharum. It would be difficult to cut yourself with the blade given the ergonomic design. I can zest roughly three oranges per minute. Cons: The build quality isn't great, when I first started using it I had to put the blade back in place once for every 20 fruits peeled, my technique has gotten better with experience. Ideally I'd like something a bit more durable with replaceable blades, this is essentially a disposable product. It's difficult to calibrate the blade, so you essentially get one option for the depth of the cut; in my case I'm not able to entirely eliminate the pith, but the vast majority of the result is zest. Summary: this is a fantastic zester for most applications, but if you want something that you can adjust the depth of cut or something more durable you might look elsewhere. For most uses the superior design and low price point make this a no brainer... buy it now! Review: Simple and easy to use - I typically use a larger vegetable peeler with an easy to grip handle so I wasn't sure if I'd like this one. However, I find it makes peeling things that I need to hold closely in my hand easier, like mangoes and potatoes. Recommend as a second peeler for your kitchen tool box. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07QMRCKDR | | Additional Features | Ergonomic | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Merssyria | | Brand Name | Merssyria | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 34 Reviews | | Manufacturer | Merssyria | | Material | Polypropylene (PP), Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Polypropylene (PP), Stainless Steel | | Number of Blades | 2 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Special Feature | Ergonomic | | Style Name | Classic | | UPC | 606098790344 | ## Images ![Vegetable Peeler (Set of 3), Sharp Blade Palm Peeler,Hand Fruit Peeler with Ergonomic Finger Grips for Peeling Potato Carrot Cucumber (Blue) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61JFf-zZgCL.jpg) ![Vegetable Peeler (Set of 3), Sharp Blade Palm Peeler,Hand Fruit Peeler with Ergonomic Finger Grips for Peeling Potato Carrot Cucumber (Blue) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71AWQpBk-vL.jpg) ![Vegetable Peeler (Set of 3), Sharp Blade Palm Peeler,Hand Fruit Peeler with Ergonomic Finger Grips for Peeling Potato Carrot Cucumber (Blue) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/5128jXPqOsL.jpg) ![Vegetable Peeler (Set of 3), Sharp Blade Palm Peeler,Hand Fruit Peeler with Ergonomic Finger Grips for Peeling Potato Carrot Cucumber (Blue) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61eCoh+EBvL.jpg) ![Vegetable Peeler (Set of 3), Sharp Blade Palm Peeler,Hand Fruit Peeler with Ergonomic Finger Grips for Peeling Potato Carrot Cucumber (Blue) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61go-EOHYoL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ergonomic design makes peeling fast and easy with little risk of cutting yourself. *by D***D on May 22, 2019* Pros: This product is incredibly easy to use. Recommend as a second peeler for your kitchen tool box. ### ⭐ Save your money. *by A***E on May 14, 2019* I bought these based on the reviews. The item would not peel an apple, cucumber, a ripe avocado, or an eggplant. Rather than trying to return, I just tossed them in the trash. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/123462529-vegetable-peeler-set-of-3-sharp-blade-palm-peeler-hand](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/123462529-vegetable-peeler-set-of-3-sharp-blade-palm-peeler-hand) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
