Review: Worth every penny - I bought these for listening to music after my old regular earphones broke, and I must say, these are probably the best headphones I have ever bought. I was switching from a great, very comfortable in your ear kind of earphones, and after they broke I wanted some that had an ear clip to stay in my ear better (and look way cool!). After a few weeks of searching for a good pair that were great and inexpencive, and finally decided on these, $9 is really cheep for a good pair, and every penny was worth it. I recomend them to everyone. (I'm actually listing to my mp3 player with the headphones as I'm typing this) Pros: - great fit After I bought these, I had major troble with the headphones for about two weeks. They wouldn't stay on my ears, the bud was rubbing against the inside of my ear constantly and giving me a great deal of uncomfortable pain. So I left them alone for about a week, and thought about it some, then went back and played around with the ajustment (I use my on the smallest setting) and eventually figured out that I was putting them in my ears wrong. I figured out how to do it right and they were very comfortable. They're very light and once you put them on you forget they're actually there. The ear clip goes nicely on my ear and does its job great, I have not had any problems with it, the earclip is very flexible, and so is the adjustment. The bud seems a little big but it fits nicely in my ear. The headohones don't come off if you yank the cord (they will eventually if you keep yanking it though) - pretty good sound It's not as good as you would get from a great pair of over-the-head kind of headphones, (that was expected) but they are very good for just being headphones. I have owned a pair of earphones that had better sound. Of all the headphones and earphones I've ever owned, the sound is number 2 on my list, which is pretty good considering I've owned about 8 pairs, and these are by far the cheapest good sound you'll ever get. It's a little tinny sometimes, but that might be my player, because it sounds great when I have them plugged into my IMac or Windows PC. One con though, sometimes (not always) the noise will sound funny after about a few minutes if you just have one headphone in, so make sure you have both in for optimum sound! Also, forgot to add, but the bass is great, if you have a song playing with some more dramatic noises, you can sometimes feel it vibrating (pro!) - adjustment Its good, I was excpecting one that didn't work so good, but this one is pretty great. Not much to say about it, but I am pretty sure it was made for bigger ears, My ears are kinda adverage I guess, and I have then on the lowest adjustmet. The clip is extremely easy to adjust which is great too. - cord The cord is nice, not short at all, I'd say it's about 2.5 feet long maybe, not sure, but I have had no problems with it at all. you don't get that annoying noise if you hit it, which is a major pro for people who are looking to go jogging with these. It also has a nice adjuster thing on it that most other headphones have. - performance performance is great. I've had absolutly no problems with it at all in the two months I've had them, and they seem like they will last me quite a long time too. They don't feel plasticy or cheap at all. - style Very very nice, They aren't bulky at all, they look great when your wearing them, and they're just fantastic like that. The blue color is actually more of a 'darker' blue with a slight metallic purpleish tint (I see this as a great pro, they look fantastic) - price 9 dollars for a great pair of headphones, great deal. Overall: I highly recommend these, they have great fit, good sound, amazing quality, and a great price. (The only thing they're missing is a mic and free food samples. that would be amazing)
Review: Great Open Ear Headphones for an Active Lifestyle! - Time Owned: 3+ years. Item Usage: Average twice a week at the gym (lifting weights) and on runs. -- The Good: (The positive qualities of the item) -The sound quality is passable. Not much bass but if your expectation is for a decent quality headphone that'll hold up to rough workout conditions and give you something to listen to while you're doing that, these will work just fine. Not audiophile quality by any means, but better than expected nonetheless. -Over-the-ear hooks and earbuds fit in the ear very well and are very resistant to pulling out even if the cord is yanked a bit. -Overall very solid construction which has held up to 3 years of intense use. -No worrying about charging or replacing batteries as you would have to with bluetooth, just throw in a gym bag and they're always ready to go. -Definitely quite sweat resistant, haven't had any issues with them getting a bit wet. -Not noise cancelling. Some would see this as a con but when I'm running on the road or in the gym I don't want my sense of hearing completely cut off from what is going on around me. These fit well in your ear and deliver sound appropriately but don't 'plug' your ear as other earbuds do. The Bad: (The qualities that may be negatives or unexpected for some) -When running or lifting weights, the cord is prone to being snagged on things and get in the way of your exercising. You're buying a wired headphone here so this will be an issue with any wired headphone, but still something to keep in mind. The Ugly: (The downright negative qualities of the item, defects, areas needing improvement, etc.) -After about 2.5 years, this item began to malfunction. The cord has to be at just the right angle when plugged into my phone to work reliably and if it moves around the sound cuts out of one or both ears. I don't let this affect the rating though as I really never expected something I treated so roughly to last much longer than 2 years. -- Final Recommendation: Buy - but first consider other options -If you're looking for a corded workout headphone these are a great option to go with. They deliver good sound quality, are of a solid build and can take a lot of abuse. However, I would suggest looking into bluetooth/wireless headphones as I've recently started using some myself, and it really opens up your range of motion without having to be mindful of your cord or have your cell phone on your person. How I Rate: - Five Stars - Accomplishes purpose for purchasing and greatly exceeds expectations. - Four Stars - Accomplishes purpose for purchasing and meets all expectations; item is and works as described. - Three Stars - Accomplishes purpose for purchasing but does not meet all expectations; misleading posting or small defects. - Two Stars - Reasonably accomplishes purpose for purchasing but significantly deviates from expectations/has numerous flaws. - One Star - Does not whatsoever accomplish purpose for purchasing. Entirely flawed, defective or deceitful.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the 3.5mm plug straight or at a 90 degree angle to cord?**
A: It is straight. However be careful. The ear hooks are adjustable and they slide around when I am working out so they do not stay in place and they fall off.

**Q: Is there a microphone?**
A: No microphone but there is one on the two....

**Q: Does it fit into the iPhone LifeProof cell phone cases?**
A: For older iPhones that still support 3.5mm headphone jacks, I've found many of the bulkier protection and battery cases require a plug extender for these to work. For newer iPhones, a lightning to headphone jack dongle is required.

**Q: How do you keep the earpiece from rattling? I've tightened the screws and it still rattles.**
A: We haven't encountered this yet

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Clarity but lacks on Comfort
*by A***3 on January 16, 2014*

I have been trying to find a set of ear buds that I can go to the gym with and that will deliver the sound that I need and the Bass that I have been desperately searching for all while retaining a sub 20$ price tag. I am not an audiophile nor do I claim to be although I did do my research on what I thought were important factors on an ear buds performance and I want something that is pleasing to my ear. I purchased 4 sets of buds Acoustic Audio Dx60's with 13.5mm drivers as well as the iluv iEP322SIL City lights, JVC HAEB75B Sport Clips and a set of pioneer buds that I will update if they make a difference to this posting. Of the three I have listened to thus far I find the JVC the worst fit. The earpiece is plastic and does not go in your ear rather rests in your ear canal. The hooks that go over the ears are soft and very comfortable as well as adjust up and down allotting for larger and smaller ears not but not for smaller ear canals. The sound quality is great but I was after BASS so they did not rank high even with an EQ app for my phone I still could not push the sound loud enough to where I felt I was really getting BASS. the ILuvs come in a very very close second to the Acoustic Audios. The bass is definitely there more so than the JVCs and I attribute a lot of that to them being in the ear rather than resting on the ear like JVC. The drivers really deliver on the bass and I feel they deliver 90% of quality clarity and bass that the Acoustic Audios deliver. They are very comfortable in the ear although I feel the cord is rather thin and flimsy we shall see how it handles the abuse. This also came with multiple ear nipples to change out the size. Finally the best for last are the Acoustic Audios. They cam with a nice drawstring pouch ear nipples, as well as what I believe is a size adapter but look the same size. The one thing I am hesitant on is it does come with a built in mic which I am prone to bump and hit in the gym but we will see how that goes. All I all I love both the Iluv and Acoustic Audios so here is how I will recommend: I believe if you want a amazing pair of chepo's with a lot of BASS go with these Iluvs if you want a little more bass and frills go with the acoustic audio either one is a winner for BASS in my book. Comfort is the only reason this gets 4 stars. Sound is great but I wanted BASS that's why I bought these and because they didn't sit in my ears I feel they were lacking in that department as well as there were better options for the money.
