They are sturdy, the plastic handles are smooth and straight; perfect for rolling over the surface of the quilled bells I’m making. The length of the metal tips are a good length for fitting through the quilling coach and still leave enough room to hold the paper strips. I like the variety of handle lengths; I use the handles themselves for rolling and smoothing the paper and i can’t have burrs, rough ends,or cheap plastic. These are strong, and have a flawless finish. I love that they are clear so I can see through them as I’m working,. I’m comparing these to a horrible set that was included in a kit that I bought that had cheap, seamed soft plastic. I just began quilling and these wonderful tools helped me succeed beautifully on my first try.
